Did you know that both stores will accept the other stores coupons? If you live near one store only and have the other store's coupon, or there is a specific item at one store, you don't have to feel like you missed out because you have a 20% off coupon for the competitor...just use it!
I moved and got a bunch of coupons for Lowes when I changed my address, but I needed paint that Home Depot carried...they were more than happy to take my business and accept the coupon.
This goes for special financing offers to, the stores will match the competitor's finance offer if you want to buy a big ticket item...don't ever feel like you have to settle!
